Sorry I have been absent for a while. Our schedule has become so busy. I don't really like how busy our lives have gotten. I feel like I really don't have much time to spend at home enjoying my family. But, I know it is just for a season. Hopefully it will slow down soon.
My children have been busy practicing Christmas songs on the piano, studying lines for the church Christmas play, reading books for book club, school work, dance, karate, church, and making things for Entrepreneurial day at co-op just to name a few things.
Every year, our Co-op has entrepreneurial day. My kids love this time at co op. They come up with things they want to sell. We figure out the cost, buy supplies, make the products then sell them. During lunch all the moms shop around buying things from the kids. It is great to see all the creativity. They sell things like jewelry, baked goods, ornaments, headbands, scarves, toys, and a great variety of other things. This year my daughter decided to make some crochet necklaces, homemade potpourri, and headbands. She did quite well. My son decided to make slime, straw rockets, Lego soap, and candy cane stirrers for hot chocolate. He also did a great job.
Yesterday was the last day of Co-op for the year. It's nice to have a break but my kids will miss it. We are excited for the upcoming holidays though. We love Thanksgiving, Christmas and even New Years. It is a great time to spend with the family.
Well I will leave you with some pictures of some of the things the kiddos made..
The Potpourri my daughter made. She dried the fruit herself using our Dehydrator.
These are the hot chocolate stirrers my son made. These are always popular. So yummy!
These are just two colors of slime that we made for him to sell. We still have a bunch left but the cousins will enjoy them on Thanksgiving day!!
Blessings,
Cristince.
