Have you ever heard of Winter Jam? It is a very large Christian Concert Tour. They charge 10.00 at the door and you get to enjoy listening to 10 bands. They don't do tickets really. You just go stand in line and once you get in, you find the best seat you can. The best way to get good seats for that cheap is to get in line very early. It is such a great concert. We have gone for the past four years now. It just visited our city this weekend. We got there very early so we could stand in line and get good seats. There is an option to buy VIP passes. It is called Jam Nation. We have done this option the past two years. We get a group of ten people together so the cost of the ticket is only 30.00 per person. We still get in line early so we can get front row seats. We have gotten front row seats the past 2 years. It is such a fun experience for the children.
This year I was kind of bummed by the lineup. I didn't know very many of them. I only knew 2 of the bands pretty well. So, I was sure I was not really going to care to much for the concert. Boy was I wrong. I think, honestly, this was one of the best Winter Jams I have been to. You can tell that the artists had a true love for the Lord. I loved the message all of them were portraying. I loved that you could tell they were there to spread the gospel the way they knew how. The songs really spoke to my heart.
The kids had a great time going with friends. They loved being in the front row trying to touch the artists. We were able to catch some guitar picks and drumsticks that were thrown to us by the Newsboys. The kids were really happy about that.
It was a long day which started out at 10 am and ended when we got to walk through our front door around 2 am but it was so worth it!
