Valentine's day

It's been a long time since I have been on here.  So much has happened over the past few weeks.  I will try to catch up with all the goodies over the next few days.   Busy schedules aren't really all that fun.

Anyway,   Valentine's day was nice.   We didn't actually do anything that day but we did get a chance to go out to eat a different day.   I had a blast taking my hubby out for a shopping spree and buying him a bunch of things that he has been wanting over the past few months.   He got an HDTV.   We were behind the times with out tv.   It was very old and hard to play new video games on.   So he was pleased to get his new tv and some new video games and supplies.   He was one happy guy leaving the store.

I have been wanting an Origami Owl necklace for quite some time now.   I never really spend money on myself, so I could never bring myself to buying one.   For Valentine's day, my hubby asked me what I would like.   So I finally told him that I would love a necklace from Origami Owl.   I went on and picked the things I wanted.   Then each of my children and my husband all picked out a charm they wanted to get me.   It was so sweet.   So here are a few pics of my necklace.   I LOVE IT!!

The green heart is my husbands birthstone and the blue stone is mine.

The girl and the boy represent my children and the birthstone for the month in which they were born.

The word "love." was chosen by my daughter.   The I love you symbol was chosen by my husband.  The blue lock and the blue key was chosen by my son.   He felt that I needed both of them.

I bought other charms as well that aren't pictured here.  I just don't like my necklace to be too crowded with charms so I change them out occasionally.   I also have a piano,  I love to cook, and I love to dance charms.   The piano is because my kiddos play piano and the I love to dance is also because both of my children take dance.   I love to cook is self explanatory...   :)       I hope to add more charms eventually.
